- What makes you suspect the Supra? I guess if it goes bad a 3rd time
- without the Supra, you will know it isn't the Supra. Have you had someone
- measure the voltages out of the Supra? I can't imagine the Supra still
- working if it is puting out lethal voltages. Are you in an area where the
- phone company ground may be a great deal different than the power company
- ground? I know there are large regions in Kentucky where this is a
- problem. They have virtually no way to arrest lightning. AT&T runs a
- large ground cable with their long distance cables there. Also, if you
- have a large static charge on yourself when you plug the modem in, you can
- zap either or both units. My phone line comes through 2 surge protectors
- before it comes to my Supra. My Supra and my 230 get along fine. Perhaps
- Supra can test the modem and tell if it was bad and caused the problem.
